Upperstar is surprisingly inexpensive dining option in Kota Kinabalu. The restaurant serves Western food and drinks but attracts locals as well as tourists and there is good reason for such pull. The restaurant offers free internet in cabins that are spacious enough for 10 people, that is, even extended families can enjoy private dinner with touch of modern technology. However, all that do not raise the price as could be expected and visitors can have a good meal without looking into their wallets. Incredibly, 2 bottles of preferred drink are offered at less than RM 20. It remains open throughout the year from noon to 1am.
