Akinabalu Youth Hostel is located on Gaya Street and houses 12 basic and non-smoking rooms. There is a special designated smoking area. You can choose from double bed fun rooms, double bed air conditioned rooms, air conditioned dormitories or fun dormitories. There is one big, clean and comfortable shared bathroom. The common living area for charting, TV or lounging is without windows, but enormous. The 24/7 front desk’s staffs will try their best so you could feel like home, as they are friendly, positive and speak fluently English, Chinese and Malay. Laundry, ironing and luggage storage services are also available.
