Fook Yuen is different from most other food venues in Kota Kinabalu. It is where seafood is not the only most important thing to be tried. It is considered a hotspot ofr Yumcha in Kota Kinabalu. It has 3 branches one at each of Gaya Street, Asia City and Damai. It is local kopitiam or coffee shop but better beverages and food than popular franchises. The advantage of being local reflects on amazingly low price of every item. It may be the only place or among the few places in Sabah where bread is popular and even recommended. Besides, there are various short dishes available at Fook Yuen.
