Sapi Island is one of 5 islands that constitute Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, which is 3 kilometre off the coast of Kota Kinabalu. Pulau Sapi is a small island with white sandy beaches and coral reefs. Diving and snorkelling are popular activities on the coast of the island. The coral reefs provide shimmering exhibition of colourful marine life that thrives there. The landmass has adventurous hiking trails inwards as well as towards jetty, where toilets, barbeque sites and picnic tables can be found. However, the island is not being paid the kind of attention that it deserves and could get ruined soon.
