Located close to Jalan Gaya Street, the Atkinson Clock Tower is a famous historical landmark of Kota Kinabalu. This is the oldest standing structure of the city with a height of around fifty feet. If you are more of a history lover then, the place will surely interest you a lot. This tower was also used by ships as a navigational landmark till the 1950s. Renovations and repairs over the years have changed the appearance of the tower a lot. The clock tower offers the perfect opportunity to the tourists to take some nice snaps keeping the structure in the background.
