Tabin Wildlife Reserve has expanse of 1230 square-kilometres and is the largest wildlife reserve in Malaysia. The whole tract of land is owned by the government and has only 1 lodge, named Tabin Wildlife Resort. It offers excellent opportunity to observe wildlife especially orang-utan and bird-watching. The thick forest cover is made of both primary and secondary forests as well as plantation, which is the main reason for the diversity in wildlife that is found there. Night drives and hiking are popular activities of visitors to the reserve. It is on River Lipad, along which visitors can trek through the jungle to experience Nature firsthand.
