The Kota Kinabalu Wetland Centre also known by the name of Kota Kinabalu City Bird Sanctuary serves as a feeding ground and refugee for different migratory as well as resident birds. It is also the breeding ground of different marine species inhabiting the wetlands of the mangrove forest. You can explore the mangrove jungle with the help of the 1.5km boardwalk that is present inside it. The unique landscape along with fresh and calm natural surroundings allows visitors to fill their lungs with some fresh air, all the while enjoying views of varieties of birds available throughout the area.
