The Lok Kawi Wildlife Park is located at a distance of around twenty five kilometres from Kota Kinabalu. The park is divided into two parts – the botanical and the zoological side. This family oriented park is home to different animals which include Sumatran rhinoceros, Borneo Pygmy elephants, Proboscis monkeys, orang-utans, Malayan tigers and more. The botanical side of the park allows visitors with the opportunity to jungle trek through its readily paved trail. The facilities available at the zoo though might not seem to be at par with modern times but overall, it promises a nice enjoyable time with friends and family.
