Sipadan Diving Centre is a natural island in Borneo, which is 20 kilometres off the south-eastern coast of Sabah. It is the only oceanic island of Malaysia and measures only 20 hectares in size. Overnight stay on the island has been prohibited in 2005. There are several resorts on Kapala Island, which is only 15-20 minutes boat ride away from Sipadan Island. The authorities have restricted the numbers of divers to 120 per day. Therefore, visitors may have to stay on nearby islands before to get chance of diving. The Wall, Barracuda Point, Coral Garden, Mid Reef, etc. are some of the many diving points at Sipadan and each are unique.
